This is the story published on the Sterling Treats shop listing. The snacks did not replace his veterinary care. They were baked so healing could have a place at home, every day.
In November 2025, Sterling suddenly lost the use of his hind legs. Seeing a young dog lose his mobility to spinal inflammation is a heartbreak no pet parent should endure. Prescription treatments helped Sterling regain his stride. That left a conviction: healing should happen every day, not only at the vet’s office.
The same season, brewers’ spent grain — nutrient-rich and often discarded — was the other problem in view. As part of The Catalyst mantra, that waste became an input. The shop listing describes an upcycled grain base fortified with turmeric, flaxseeds, and brewers’ yeast, written to support everyday mobility.
